Professional Background
Mr. Taddie is a Co-founder and a Managing Member of Stellar Capital
Management. He has over 20 years of professional experience in the
investment field. Beginning his career as a Financial Consultant with
Merrill Lynch in Arizona, he managed an office for Prudential
Securities on the East Coast, headed the Arizona office for a mid-sized
investment advisory firm, and later established S.J. Taddie, Inc., Investment Counsel,
prior to co-founding Stellar Capital Management. During that time he
has worked with a select group of clients ranging from publicly traded
corporations, government entities, and Native American Indian Tribes,
to high net worth individuals and families across the country. He is
frequently asked to speak on economic and investment management trends,
has authored numerous articles and has often been quoted on the same
subjects.
Community and Professional Organizations
Mr. Taddie is a member of the National Association for Business
Economists, Panelist for the Western Blue Chip Economic Panel and the
Arizona Blue Chip Economic Panel, Past President of the Arizona
Economic Round Table, Board Member of the Central Arizona Estate
Planning Conference, and a member of the Economic Club of Phoenix, the
CFA Institute, the Phoenix CFA Society, and is an Arbitrator with the
National Association of Securities Dealers Board of Arbitrators. He has
been a member of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference, Arizona
Town Hall, and the Madison School District Financial Oversight
Committee. Currently serving on the Advisory Board for the Foundation
for Burns & Trauma, he has served on the Executive Boards for the
Foothills Foundation, the Foundation for Burns & Trauma, the
Phoenix Camelback Rotary Club, and on the Finance Committee for the
Desert Botanical Gardens. He has also volunteered with Junior
Achievement and coached youth sports teams.
Education
Mr. Taddie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics
from Lehigh University, and a Master of Business Administration from
the University of Phoenix.
